They do have a long way to go i believe the record for Gate City is about 175 or maybe a little more. But this is just the third meet, those numbers start growing rapidly after this for all schools running and throwing.

He's a soph,
That not an excuse or w/e im just saying...he is.
No kidding LOL my senior year(91) I went to state with the shortist throw in the state at 138 feet
That's a low number for any time of year. I was just a hack who came out my senior year for something to do and threw better than that in my first meet. Just more proof of the athletic decline that has hit the area in the last decade.
I'm not banging on the kid, especially if he's a soph. I'm talking about a meet being won at 116 is pretty sad.
Decline in some sorts, when was the last time that every kid in the last heat of the 100 meters ran sub 12's? Especially someone from GC. Heck, they would've won the 4x1 if it wasn't for that handoff, i haven't seen them do that in at least 5 years.
I'd say about any team that PV fielded and lot of the CW, JJK, Coeburn, and JIB teams in the late 90's. Like I said the last decade has been pitiful.
I can see that, but were u at the meet when Keagan ran his 10.6
Nope. I said earlier that I haven't really followed it much in the last 10 years. You still have a sprinkling of really good athletes, you just don't have anywhere near what there was in the early and mid 90's.
I remember those days, the Jake Houseright, Chad Beasley, Benny Wolfe, Nate Shreive and soo many more, PV had the Joneses, Clintwood came along with Hamilton those years made any sport or game exciting.
